"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"

There’s a hall full of people at the wedding of Julia and Jimmy. Julia is wearing a beautiful pastel dress and Jimmy is in a tux. Everyone is in the crowd, Molly, Molly’s Husband, Sarah, Sarah’s brother, Mun, Sy, Sy’s parents. The scene starts right at the beginning of the ceremony. 

Jimmy: You’re beautiful. I can’t believe “I have kissed [your] honey lips” and get to continue the rest of my life. 

Head of the Ceremony: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Jimmy and Julia in holy matrimony, which is an honorable estate, that is not to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently and soberly.

Jimmy: It’s been a while, but when we hold hands, I “[feel] healing in [our] fingertips.” So happy to be here with you.

Head of the Ceremony: Into this estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any one can show just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace.

Julia: “It burned like fire.” 

Jimmy: What did?

Julia: Finding out you’ve been cheating on me. Now I have “this burning desire” to run from this altar.

Head of the Ceremony: Who gives this woman to be married to this man?

Julia: (dryly) No one. 

Head of the Ceremony: “I have spoke with the tongue of angels” and we are obliged to marry this couple in holy matrimony. 

Julia: Actually hold on. “I have held the hand of a devil” and I cannot go forward with this. You may ask me how we got to this point only to leave now. Let me paint the picture. “It was warm in the night” and a lot of sweet nothings were said. Some rational things were said too. There was something off and “I was cold as a stone,” but Jimmy shared his jacket. We began dating.

Jimmy: Babe. Don’t do this.

Julia shakes Jimmy’s grasp.

Julia: Then I saw him out and about sharing his jacket with at least one other woman. So I won’t go through with this eternal marriage. Thank you everyone for coming, “but I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.”

Julia runs up the aisle. Mun runs after his mom. Molly stands up and starts to slow clap.
