"Slow"

Bunny is sitting at the small kitchen table she and her roommate, Fiya, share. She looks super bored as she works on her laptop.

Bunny: Ughhh "Time moves slow." (she writes another sentence, yells) How do you spell synergy? (to herself) This doesn't look right?

Bunny continues to type.

Bunny: Hey! Where did you go? I need your help.

Fiya comes from her room.

Fiya: (annoyed) Whaaaaat?

Bunny: What? You can go back to bingeing whatever it is.

Fiya: "But…."

Bunny: What are you watching now?

Fiya: That documentary that looks like a mockumentary of a documentary and everyone on insta and twitter are having epic battles and hashtag teams. Wait, enough. "It's you who brought me here." What did you want?

Bunny: No I didn't. 

Fiya turns to go back to her room.

Bunny: Oh wait. Yes, I remember! Come back please.

Fiya: "You" are driving me crazy. What is so important?

Bunny: You love me.

Fiya: I've simply dealt with you "through all these years."

Bunny: If you didn't we wouldn't keep being roommates. 

Fiya: Keep up this quarantine hell and I promise, as soon as this is over, we will not be. 

Bunny: Well lucky for us that "time moves slow." You know "it's you who brought me here” to this city. Telling me I could chase my dreams. 

Fiya: You’ve done alright for yourself. "It's you and all your" successes. So "cheers." I'm going back to my room. 

Bunny: I haven't asked you what I wanted.

Fiya: I just want to finish my film.

Bunny: You know it's "you who brings a fear" of failure in me. You're so put together and I'm like a freaking mess. How do you do it? 

Fiya: This is what you're asking me about now? We have all weekend to talk about this and you choose the time I decide to be antisocial, watching a movie?

Bunny shrugs. She steadily watches her friend for her answer.

Bunny: "You" should tell me. 

Fiya: (sighs) I had to learn to get past the imposter syndrome. Embrace the fact that I was doing the same thing as the people around me and better so it was pointless to get so nervous about it. I wish I had some kind of magic formula to help others, but it's more of a mindset. So "though all these years" I've been able to learn and get it together. Why do you ask?

Bunny: I am curious. "Time moves slow" and I need to learn something new. All of these job applications are getting to me.
