"Clumsy"

Three women are grabbing drinks after work. They’ve been friends for a long time and can be any mixture of ages.

Daria: I “can’t breath!”

Rosalie: What happened this weekend?

Daria: He touched my sleeve and my stomach butterflies went crazy!

Britt: “Whoa now!” That’s it?

Rosalie: (to Britt) Shhhh!

Britt: Sounds like “[you’re] going’ down” a rabbit hole.

Daria: He’s so wonderful! Smart, funny, and attractive! The trifecta! Oh… and built, so many muscles.

Britt: You don’t know him though. You two have said like three words to one another and two of them have been ‘Hi.’ You gotta get to know him.

Daria: I really feel like I do know him! You guys “don’t know what’s wrong with me.”

Britt: I think I can guess.

Daria: Thinking about him has “got me trippin', stumblin', flippin', fumblin'.”

Rosalie: Awww, “you’re “Clumsy 'cause [you’ve] fallin' in love.”

Britt: Is that really a get-out-of-jail-free-card though? Daria’s been straight messy recently.

Rosalie: That’s really exciting though.

Britt: (Clapping in between the syllables) Let.me.re.peat...You don’t know him!

Rosalie: “She can’t help it. The girl can’t help it.”

Daria: I really can’t. There’s so much love to give.

Britt: Is he looking for something serious? I feel like you’re going to be the one to get hurt again when you make it clear what you want.

Daria: “You know, this isn’t the first time this has happened to me.” Max was the first guy I loved and that was tough.

Rosalie: That’s right! The “love sick thing” finds you and takes you prisoner often.

Daria: I wouldn’t say OFTEN!! “I like serious relationships and a girl like me don’t stay single for long.”

Britt: You have boyfriends all of the time! It’s kind of a curse “‘cause everytime a boyfriend and [you] break up.”

Rosalie: “[Your] world is crushed, and [you’re] all alone.”

Daria: “The love bug crawls right back up and bites me and I’m back!”

Britt and Rosalie: She’s back!

Daria: (Swooning) This time will be always and forever.
