"What if I Missed You"

Charlie is at work with Stella. It's a big day, Charlie is about to present to the executive team. 

Stella: How'd you sleep?

Charlie: What sleep? "I just woke up feelin' like I turned all night." When I thought I had fallen asleep I was all the sudden I was wide awake again. 

Stella: That happened to me last month for this meeting. It's going to be alright.

Charlie: I feel so rushed. Since I "missed my alarm" I feel like I've been behind all morning.

Stella: Breath. You're going to do great. "Now [you] can't make up the time." You only have a few more minutes. They're waiting for you.

Charlie: Thanks. (sips coffee and it spills it everywhere) You've got to be kidding me. Now "I spilled my coffee on my favorite shirt."

Stella: I have extra shirts at my desk. "[I'll try] to clean it but" I might "make it worse."

Charlie: I appreciate that. So what do they ask in there?

Stella: Well at first they just kept making small talk amongst themselves. "On top of that" the meeting started 10 minutes late which was lucky for me "[I was] hitting every light" so it worked out okay but want to know something?

Charlie: Sure.

Stella: "I missed the meeting."

Charlie: You talk like you were there.

Stella: No one remembered that I wasn't. So I keep pretending that I was.

Charlie: That's sneaky. But necessary. 

Stella: How much time do you have until the meeting now?

Charlie checks phone.

Charlie: Well I don't know "'cause of course my phone just died."

Stella: What a day.

Charlie: I should just give up and start "doin' circles in the parking lot."

Stella: Don't give up. You’re going to be great.

Charlie: "Man, I just want this day to stop." 

Stella passes the shirt back.

Stella: Look at you. You're good as new. Now get over to the conference room.
