"Fixing A Hole"
Yara is holding a basket of laundry and sees her husband, Daro, trying to fix up the nursery for their soon-to-arrive child. Daro is fiddling with the door.
Yara: That color you chose for the walls really is amazing. You did good.
She places the basket on the dresser and starts to fold the laundry, placing it in the crib.
Yara: What have you been working on for hours today?
Daro: I’m trying to fix this. I started to notice all the issues with it. “I’m filling the cracks that ran through the door.” After that I want to paint it to match that walls.
Yara: We were going to put a cloth drape on there anyway. I thought your mom was working on something.
Daro: Really working on this has “kept my mind from wandering.” We’re having our first peanut in a few weeks.
Yara: That answers the question of “where it will go.” Also, She’s slightly bigger than that.
Daro’s eyes get wide. He stands up and goes over to hug his wife.
Yara: I wasn’t supposed to say that.
Daro: I’m so glad you did.
Yara: You’re not angry?
Daro: “It really doesn’t matter” because I’m so happy we know.
Yara: I thought you didn’t want to? I couldn’t help it and I wasn’t about to spend money to have a gender reveal.
Daro: This is so awesome. I don’t care if “I’m wrong” or “right” about wanting this.
Yara: “Where I belong” is here with you and soon to be her.
Daro: This really is perfect.
Yara: She’s kicking again. I think she feels it too.
